Summaries on Seldom Heards!

Stratus

For this Friday, I am posting some short summaries about some channels seldom heard. Somepoint down this road I will cover  these channels more in depth with longer worded coverage.

I used to be one of the many people who wrote off Martha Stewart as an annoying person who was on the air too much. After a while,  I grew to respect that I could learn something from her. I have a newer appreciation for my home and the lifestyle of taking better care of the home, as well as a greater appreciating for food. This is thanks in part to Martha Stewart Living, Sirius Channel 112.

ESPN Radio and ESPN All Access (channels 120 and 121 respectively) are a great window into American Sports Commentary.  As much as I value the opinions of Canadian Sports Commentators, the American insight is always insightful and full of passion.

If you are a fan of musicals, you should have a listen into On Broadway, Sirius 77. Those who appreciate classic show tunes and the great soon to be classics from recent era musicals like Chicago or the Golden Globe nominated “Nine”, will find some great moments tuning into this channel. Some people who love musicals will know many of these songs and movie dialect off by heart. Perhaps you might re-live that moment or two from your favourite scene in “Grease”.

It is always fun to spin the dial at random to see what else is on this great medium. I hear constant stories form subscribers who are just figuring out they had this channel or that channel. Sirius Radio is continuing to bring on people who are tired of terrestrial radio and the same old same old.
