Bubba The Love Sponge Moves On

Stratus

Tough and Truth talking Radio jock Todd Clem (a.k.a. Bubba The Love Sponge) did not return to Sirius at the beginning of the year despite a barrage of e-mails to SiriusXM’s head office requesting that they give him a deal. Bubba and his crew host a wildly successful Terrestrial Radio show and featured their own uncensored show most Friday mornings on Sirius at Howard 101.

As of this post drafting (January 10, 2011) Howard Stern insisted that he would love to have a way to bring Bubba and his crew back to the channels in some way.

Bubba seems content with his new home at Radio IO where he has taken many of his loyal Bubba Army members with him.

Meanwhile Howard Stern has been filling in the space of time once occupied by Bubba’s show with “Mammary Lane” classic Stern moments.

Howard 101 is not worth anything without an afternoon drive show.   I love Bubba, and listen to him on line when I can, Tim Sabien needs to get Bubba back on the channel IMMEDIATELY, I will listen to Ellis on Faction, he is way more interesting and topical than non stop Mammary lane.  This is a HUGE step backward for Sirius, and 101

very disappointed that I bought a lifetime subscription to sirius two years ago.  Since the merger with xm, the music stations have become very repetitive and the channel promotion is non stop. Now with Bubba gone, I have no salvation when listening during 17 hours a day driving heavy equipment.  Not that I don’t enjoy howard, but an afternoon drive is important too, and Bubba was a perfect fit. Guess I’ll have to get radio io.  Thanks for nothing.

Just remember Bubba Army it wasn’t Bubba’s choice on any content it was Srirrius that decide what they would play and how much they were willing to spend on Bubba foolish mistake on Sirrius behalf. As the master has said “fuck this place it’s bull shit I’m outta here”
