I loved the movie about Sirius XM: “Stock Shock” because it explains how the whole naked short selling stock market manipulation thing works-and how the company nearly went bankrupt. I did not know Sirius was founded by a woman! Good DVD. Amazon has it or stockshockmovie.com has a movie trailer.
MTF – Thank you for mentioning this. I will look for this DVD. XM Radio in my opinion made some costly mistakes which SiriusXm as one had to absorb. Oprah and Bob Dylan’s deals while making them entertaining on the Radio, was very costly. They both bring a lot of good to this media, but too much money was initially spent on getting their names to be part of the whole thing. Dylan is allegedly not planning to renew his contract and may no longer be on Deep Tracks. I will have more info on that as it becomes available.
