Father’s Day Gift? Random Sirius Notes
Father’s Day is this weekend. You still have time to get Dad the great gift of a subscription to Sirius. The Sirius Canada website recently underwent a few cosmetic changes which appear to make the site much more user-friendly. What I appreciate about the site is the breakdown of available units is explained much more clearly. When you click on each available unit, you get a pop-up description and visual of the unit.
The lone Sirius unit I own is a Sportster 3. It is still a good deal for the money. Eventually I intend to upgrade to something with a better display like a Sportster 5.
Many people of my Dad’s generation still do not realize this great product even exists. I had a great time explaining to my Dad the features and types of music available at Sirius. The idea of a Bluegrass channel for instance is something original and unique. Plus he would enjoy Country stations like Sirius 62 The Roadhouse.
Also check out the merchandise page for some kick-ass swagger with the Sirius logo. Lots of cool accessories here worth wearing to show your loyalty to the revolution. Until the end of June, you can get a Sirius Hoodie for half off at $12.49 .
Sirius Radio and summer go well together. It is great to be able to take this thing everywhere. If you own a cottage or camp property, you can permeate the nearby forests with the great variety of sounds courtesy of the Radio revolution. If you have neighbours nearby who are blasting the same stupid terrestrial feed with the same songs over a 4 hour set, give them a blast of the best music on radio, and the best entertainment around.
