Sirius XM Radio CEO, Mel Karmazin has plead for industry observers and satellite radio companies alike to put an end to the “doom and gloom” mood surrounding the business, saying that the pessimism is only hurting the company’s chances.
While Karmazin may have a point his urging for optimism still doesn’t change the lack of faith that many subscribers have felt in the time from Sirius and XM’s merger onward.
Rate increases and a general lack of communication with their customer base has left many feeling alienated when the problem could have been avoided with better management tactics.
