NiceMac Provides Official Explanation of Sirius iPhone App

usirius1NiceMac has finally gone public regarding the death of its Sirius iPhone App and the reason behind the StarPlayr creator’s decision to leave the development field altogether.

While many have already speculated on NiceMac’s move to leave behind Sirius player development, the company itself has now officially confirmed that the move was directly based on the February rejection of their uSirius iPhone App by Apple.

Both NiceMac and Sirius XM Radio had been under a mutual non-disclosure agreement over the last nine months and the uSirius deal may have been killed by NiceMac’s plans to strike out on their own as a 3rd party developer at the beginning of this year, a move that may have been the reason behind their satellite radio application’s rejection.
