Opie and Anthony Show co-host and well-known comedian, Jim Norton may be moving up to an even higher profile in the entertainment world if current rumours hold true regarding Norton joining Jay Leno’s new prime time show.

The New York Post published speculation regarding Jim Norton as an extremely likely candidate for the position of “correspondent” on Jay Leno’s new NBC show, a replacement program after he left his longtime position as host of The Tonight Show.

Norton would join with other celebrity correspondents (including D.L. Hughley, Rachael Harris and Mikey Day) on the new series upon its launch this fall. Whether or not he would continue to appear on Sirius XM’s Opie and Anthony Show is unknown.
