Howard Stern collaborator and well-known comedian Artie Lange has been arrested on the charge of Driving Under the Influence (DUI) after being apprehended by police last weekend.

Lange was stopped by local police in the afternoon on Friday, July 10th after rear-ending a 2004 Pontiac and was ultimately detained in New Jersey under suspicion of DUI. The charges were later confirmed and filed by law enforcement along with the addition of a careless driving complaint.

The Howard Stern Show co-host has not filed an official comment yet and no word has been given to press as of the exact charges and penalty laid on Lange for his offense.
